Reshape & Restore Teeth

Dental Bonding

Dental bonding is a very useful way to reshape your child’s teeth if they have been chipped or damaged in an accident. Bonding is non-invasive and painless, making it an easy way to restore your child’s smile. During treatment, Dr. Butler will apply a special dental resin directly to the tooth. Then, she will shape and sculpt it to match the surrounding teeth to restore its natural shape and appearance.

Treat Cavities

Composite Tooth-Colored Fillings

Fillings are, in the vast majority of cases, the best way to treat cavities. This treatment will restore the shape and function of a decayed tooth and prevent further damage. At our office, we use composite fillings, which are matched to the color of your child’s teeth. Composite fillings are durable, look natural, and help strengthen damaged teeth.

Restore Damaged Teeth

dental Crowns

Dental crowns are designed to cover up and protect damaged teeth. If a tooth has been seriously damaged in an accident or by decay, a crown will cover your child’s remaining enamel all the way down to the gumline. After treatment, a dental crown will look and feel just like a natural tooth, and your child’s bite and smile will be fully restored. We offer stainless steel crowns for baby teeth and ceramic crowns for permanent teeth.

Treat Infection

Baby Root Canals

If your child has a serious cavity or damages a tooth and does not get proper treatment, the blood vessel and nerve-filled “pulp” inside their tooth could become infected, causing serious discomfort. A baby root canal (also called a pulpotomy) is used to clean and disinfect damaged teeth. Dr. Butler will open up a small hole in the tooth and remove any decayed material. Then, she will apply a special antibacterial medication to kill any remaining bacteria. The tooth will be restored with a crown to protect it from further damage.

Keep Teeth From Moving

Space Maintainers

If your child loses a baby tooth prematurely, a space maintainer will prevent other teeth from shifting toward the empty socket until their permanent tooth erupts. The placement of space maintainers is a quick and easy process, and this treatment ensures that permanent teeth erupt properly and that your child’s oral development is on the right track.

Remove Troublesome Teeth

Basic Extractions

If your child has a tooth that is severely damaged beyond repair, or if they require an extraction for orthodontic purposes, we’re here to help. Dr. Butler uses the modern tools and techniques to extract teeth quickly and gently. We offer sedation to keep your child calm and relaxed during the procedure and ensure a painless visit.
